It's me, your invigilator in 2008. Time flies and it's exam once again. I remembered the same time last year and all those little things that happened when I was invigilating your class. How much can you recall?
The water bottle that smashed and the scramble to restore the classroom.
The click click click of correction tape (strangely, I don't hear them now)
CONGRATULATION to ... Prasana, Wei Shen , Mathias , Jian Cheng & Xin Yoong for getting the 2nd runner up award Chin Din , ChinYi, Desylia , An Ji and Li Jun for getting the championship of 2009 SCIesta & last but not least everyone who had put in their effort!
"What have we got ourselves into?" (I'm asking this in a positive manner). For the past weeks, I have been asking myself this question. What have I got 2A into?
The feeling lingers long after the experience is over. It is a pleasant one. I'm glad I was part of it. I guess every now and then, round an unexpected corner, sometimes deliberate, sometimes accidentally... when one puts on the class T-shirt or even sees someone else in it. It will all come back again.
2A is no more (? I thought, but I guess I was wrong, yea, sometimes it is good to be wrong)
Hard work will see you through (For your tears had said it all: Part 2)
Results are decided the moment the paper is handed in Although the marks are not yet seen Teachers are merely the rewarders What is right and wrong There is nothing we can alter
What remains lies the question What makes the biggest difference and deserves our attention It is quite obvious even to a fool For it is hard work that will see us through
Teachers may pat you at the back for a job well done If you slack the next moment you're back to square one Parents could give you a scolding or a prize The hard work behind it you don't compromise
So don't be sad if you have not done well For better for worse time will tell There is no short cut to success Be sincere in your hard work And let God do the rest
We are fun-loving
We are united
We have wonderful teachers Can't you just simply agree that we rock?
Fifty years down the road, we may not call each other anymore,
not meet up anymore, or maybe not even recognis each other anymore. But at
least we were once a class, have shared common memories, that hopefully will last a lifetime
